Each morning the team combines weather, route conditions and seasonal observations into one concise page. It is not a technical forecast or a promise of sightings; it is a practical way to understand what the day might feel like. Copies remain in the library, gradually building a record of the landscape beyond any single visit.
A hotel designed for wet weather
Covered connections, proper drying space and sheltered window seats make rain easier to live with rather than something to ignore. Interiors use tactile wool, timber and stone to create warmth without decorative excess. Guests can shorten a walk, spend longer over lunch or read beside the forest and still feel that the day belongs to the place.
Choosing a field room or private cabin
Rain Rooms keep guests near the library and dining room, Weather Suites provide space for longer indoor periods, and Shadow Cabins create a stronger sense of separation. Cabin guests walk outside for meals and should consider that in colder weather. Housekeeping and breakfast remain consistent across all categories.
